I believe he means the adjustable strutbars. I myself have the front and rear adjustable ones, and they do work very well. the one peice strut bars are probably better in the long run, but for price difference the adjustable ones are much better. 200$ vs.20$-30$ on ebay

Single piece bars, assuming they are built well, are generally much sturdier then an adjustable unit. But what you might want to consider is what kind of chassis flex you are fighting. Not something that most people in here will actually know. For simplicity's sake, if you want a strut bar that will reduce all kinds of chassis flex, a single peice design will probably yield the best results. Multi-piece units generally are somewhat thin and have two pivot points where the bar and endplates meet. This means it's a bit weaker when the chassis is flexing front to back or up and down. It should be fine in reducing lateral flex though. An advantage of a multipiece is that they are usually adjustable which means it is easier to preload the bars. Soild 1 piece designs that use parallel bars with some heavy gauge sheetmetal joining the two are extremly rigid in all directions.

I crcaked my cusco C/f one a while back when I didnt have sway bars, so I know what flex im fighting :p

get a single peice one, you pay for quality, but its worth it, IMO. do it right, do it for good.-chet

one point to think about is that the 350z uses an adjustable bar from the factory. this may just be to ease the install though. its too bad that the adjustable units are so flimsy. some have aluminum threads even for the adjustment nut/bolt.

how the hell did you crack a cusco c/f bar? i was thinking about gettin those, should i reconsider?

wel. to crack it, you take R compound tires(yokohama A032R's, actually) and go around a track at the TIRES limit, which apparnetly without swaybars(or other means of reducing body roll and flex) is not the cars...

pretty much susbantiating my theory that all the links have to be strong or things break under track abuse. Pretty cool stuff, I got a new one.....:)Oh well, its what I get for wanting to mess with some R-compound tires I found without really thinking about the consequences(yeah, yea...I broke a 200 dollar strut bar.)
