Hey, gang--Odd thing reared its ugly head the other night, seemingly all on its own. 3 of the 4 power windows (2 rear quarter windows plus passenger side window) effectively quit on me. They do not go up nor down.

The driver's side window works just fine.

After searching the FSM Supplement for convertibles (thank God I bought this), it appears there is an array of relays in the rear of the car for the power windows, plus a logic controller for them.

Before I dig in that rat's nest, has anybody here experienced this situation with their 'vert? If so, post up how you solved the problem. I'd really appreciate it.

This may sound too elementary.. so if you've already thought of this.. please don't take it as an insult..

The 'vert has child safety lock for the power windows. It's a small square button next to the driver side power window switch. If that button is depressed, the other windows won't operate.

I will bet you one shiny nickel that this is the problem.

My two year-old daughter jumped in the 'vert the other day and began playing with stuff (she's a button-pusher).

Well...at least I now know that every single fuse in my car is in good shape. I pulled them all, one-by-one, initially looking for a solution.

Thanks for the simple solution. I tend to overthink things sometimes.

HHhhhmmmmm.... Looks like this is something that many vert owners go through. I see this almost every month. I hate to admit it, but been there done that....

This happened to me the other day! Luckily I caught it before pullin off interior panels. Apparently the guy who did the inspection on my car fumbled around with switches before finding the Lo-Jack one... I got all pissed until I realized what it was.
