I have 3 inch from cat back, and with my turbo setup it's 3 inch turbo back. I'm N/A right now and 3 inch is fine, but don't just get straight piping all the way back. If you are going 3 inch get an actual exhaust like HKS, it will sound a lot better.

I have a BBP after market racing header, with a JDM catback race exhaust, and test pipe; all stainless.

Repairs never end in racing.

I've got 5" exhaust and I'm considering returning it to stock cause it's too loud.

dont do it. a muffler, yeah, but 3in all the way back to the header... no. u will lose back pressure which causes a loss in low end torque with a slight gain in high end and ur car is going to be really loud and annoying

if your a stock internal ka24de...dont bother..3" is for a turbo aplication..if your going to do it do it kinda rite....if your going turbo in the future get a 2.5 inch 4to1 header+down pipe and a cat back from there..if your stayin N/A...get a 4to2to1 header (Good one) not an ebay one they dont fit rite..ebay 4to1's do thou..and then go cat back...thats my advice..just doing the cat back is worthless in my opinion..its like halfway doing your brakes..just lame...good luck wat ever you decide.

Seriously it all depends on your future plans... if you plan on goin turbo f**k it go 3 in but they are correct if you are goin to stay n/a don't go past 2.5 its pointless. another thing - dont plan on getting much power unless you go aftermarket headers and cat/testpipe. in addition you may think having a really loud car is cool, but take it from me, it definitely has its downside. i have a three in on my car (remnants left over from my sr days) and its loud as hell and draws way too much attention. i probably get pulled over once a week... so keep that in mind when exhaust shopping unless you dont care
