That's a good read for sure

The flat spotting refered to can happen with a lot of newer tires that have a nylon ply cap over the belts. When the tires warm up and the car is parked the weight of the car will flatten at the contact patch. Because the nylon has 'memory' it will cool and actually give you a slight vibration when you drive the car until the belts warm up again. That's probably why they say to run the car at highway speeds after each adjustment. They also specify the Hunter Road Force balancer which picks up a lot of the internal problems older balancers won't. That's the setup we use on all our packages here. I find it kind of funny that they single out aftermarket CHROME wheels. We don't handle alot of chrome wheels and we take alot of flak about it all the time. I'd love to be able to send everyone who complains about the lack of chrome wheels a copy of this :pface . The main problem is that any time you chrome a wheel it weakens the alloy a lot. They don't hold up as well as painted or polished wheels in low profile applications and the finish requires a lot more care. What a fun read! Thanks for posting this!
