Wondering if you guys could help me out with something? I have a Y pipe that is a 3" at the base. I have it running into a borla axle back, or whatever you want to call it. I am looking for and exhaust that is also 3" to match my y pipe. The borla is only 2.5". The only ones i have found ar like $3000 titanium exhaust. Does anyone make any cheaper, or has anyone done a custom? I want it to me loud, and wouldn't even mind straight pipes, but also don't want to be pulled over.

Thanks,Matt

You might just want to get a muffler(s) and take it to a muffler shop. Otherwise you are going to either pay a lot of money or hard time finding one. I got my single 3" on my tiburon for around $ 175. there are some 3" exhausts I know of, but they're expensive and are true duals.

I went and did some searching and came up with some exhausts. Apex-i makes an N1, megan racing makes one, stillen makes one, agency power makes one. Pretty much search the sponsers. Especially Enjuku Raceing.

Thanks, yeah I saw that megan makes an affordable one, but I talked to the guy and he said it is not very loud. I wonder if their is a way to take out some of the muffle int he muffler?

ve thought about that, but not sure how much of a difference it would make.

Two things your wrong about here though.1. I doesn't just pop off, you have to cut it off. Then you have to weld a smooth piece of pipe back into place.

2. It has nothing to do with global warming. Your catalytic converters are probably whet you are thinking of.

Check your local laws. You don't want to have one that is to loud. Trust me I know from experience. Tickets for loud exhausts suck. Plus if it's loud it usually sounds like crap. Get something that sounds nice. Rice FTL.
