wont hurt, but you will loose low end power and some torque

You will lose some power....not bad though..When I got my Apexi GT-spec exhaust put on awhile ago I noticed a alittle change nothing crazy...With turbo its real sweet now

wait for the turbo if your going custom why do it twice just wait for the turbo and do it once. And yes 3 inch is toooooo much for a non turbo not enough backpressure and you will hurt the motor if you run it hard or for a long time....pssshhhh swooosh

NOT TRUE! Alex Chang one of the moderators on FA have done a dyno with a 3" catback on his ka a couple months back and gained an extra 14 rwhp I believe. Do a search for:

"Zigen Pro Racer exhaust dyno" in the 240sx(advance) forum.

It's not on here, I said it's on FA = Freshalloy.com, and no Alex's s13 coupe is not turbo. Just a good ole ka24de.

Please explain to me how a 3" exhaust on a non-turbo engine will hurt the engine? I would love to hear your explanation.

I quote ziggy! Where are you people getting your worthless information nowadays? It's like, "You will blow your engine doing 14 psi on stock t25 because stock 370 injectors are too small".

my exhaust tip is 4 inches in diameter and the sound is hella deep, for some reason when i rev no one look or stares.i guess they got use to the noise since their are so many ricer a round here.

i for the record an not a ricer. performance over looks always. (for Cars, girls are a different story)

3" is fine for an NA KADE. not to mention that if you are going turbo, that will eliminate one extra thing to do. you will definitely gain hp, not lose. the KA loves to breathe and as we all know, the factory exhaust systems tend to be on the restrictive side.

Dude I've had a GP Sports Spec D on my car and also have a 5zigen Proracer on my car now. The 3" doesn't rob you of power if it's well designed. The GP had power all the way and so does the Proracer. Get a quality one and you won't suffer any loss. by the way here's the dyno chart for the proracer

http://forums.freshalloy.com/u...art=1

yeah I picked up my 5zigen from Alex when he was in Milpitas for like a day. I actually got 2 from him since one of my other friends said he wanted it but he backed out since his dohc was in need of a timing chain and some other parts so if you want a proracer I can hit you up with one for 630 shipped
