3.5se VS G37

G37 FTW!!! lol i'm pretty proud of my CVT 3.5se though. even with my cat off (makes me .2 secs slower and i was supposed to get it put on today but for sure tomorrow ill have it back on). but ya so we let off at about 100 MPH and the G37 was only about 1 car length ahead of me. with my cat on that would have been only half a car length or a little less then a tie. but as a defense for the G37, is was brand new (still had dealer plates) and maybe the guy just didnt know how to drive his car all that well...... was expecting the G37 to be faster then that

lol no when i say empty road i mean no buildings or anything around it. i mean there is no reason at all for anyone to be there... it's like right before the rail road tracks (the reason why we let off at 100, so we could slow down for the tracks). but ya, i know what you mean

empty roads, not empty roads doesnt matter 100mph is a good avrg speed lol...shoot, tonight comin home from work, this old bald dude comes flyin up beside me in I would assume the first infinity EVER made it was so old. He comes up and keeps even with me with litterally this face being made . Tryin to get me to race, well after he takes off I had pre-decided not to race him, well before I had even fully made that choice, I changed my mind and decided to burn this tool. I floored it and never looked back, he didnt have a chance in hell! .

i have never had anyone make a face like that at me before LOL! turns out the G37 is no where near as fast as i thought it was. magazines tested it at 13.8 in the 1/4 mile and theres vids of people on youtube 14.1 and on dragtimes.com the times vary from 13.8 to like 14.2 or 14.3. so a 3.5se altima coupe with exhaust it pretty much just as fast as a G37 lol but that face from the guy who raced you is priceless

Well comparing the weight to power ratio the (3187/270) 6MT 3.5 AC is about 11.8 and the G37 is 11.1 (3668/330). (lower is better) Take those numbers however you want the G is still going to be faster according to physics and if we take Nissans Power Rating to be correct. In the case of the GT-R Nissan saying the car produces 475 HP when its about 500+.

Did you race an auto or a manual? someone on the "another forum" raced a 6 speed G37 with his 6MT Altima Sedan and it was a tie neither car could pull away from the other. Both cars had intakes, granted it was from a roll they raced from a dig and the G won.

i raced a g37 last nite n lost lol but i got the 2.5 n he was surprise bc i wasnt to far off but after 100 he shat on me but w/e got mad lucky bc we stopped racin and the next light we get to and therres a cop then i make a uturn n go bk home n the previous light where we were goin 100+ by there was another cop talk bout ironic lol but i wish i had more power so dissapointing bc i top out so quick NEED THE ECU!!!!!!!! HINT HINT STILLIN OR ANYONE

but im happy that the 6 keeps up with it bc that guys gonna get a surprise wen next time he doesnt beat a 6
