i have a 3.5SE (with CVT) and i got 2.5" cat-back done to it a while ago. i kept the stock muffler and just did 2.5" cat-back to get the kink out of the pipe. some people were asking me how it sounds before so i finally recorded a video. nothing amazing (stock muffler) but a little better then 100% stock.
oh ya and in case you're wondering, i have under 5,000 miles on the car.... some where between 4,500 and 5,000. seems like it got a little louder after the last couple thousand miles

ya it does actually feel a little faster. i mean nothing amazing but i did feel a LITTLE change. it actually affected the power more then the sound. it was only $100.

lol ya this muffler shop near me is pretty good. everyone goes to them and there prices are pretty good. i can get two magnaflow mufflers INSTALLED (with life time warranty on the install) for $250.... maybe a little more cuz i'd have to get a "Y" pipe but under $300 for sure. i can have cat back exhaust with two magnaflow mufflers for under $400. that's why i see Nismo exhaust for like $800 or something and i'm like WTF?!!! they have a bunch of different types of mufflers too, i just really like magnaflow.
