not sure if anyone cares but on my way home last night i saw my friend (his parents live right by me) and he has his own house like 2 miles away and so i went towards his place and had a quick run.... new houses were supposed to go up in his area but the economy died so he has a empty brand new 4 lane road by his house.... so we did a quick run and i won....
he has a 2003 E500 with mods. he did a 13.5 in the 1/4 mile with stock rims. now he has a couple more things done to it but also has 20" rims on it. we went from a stop. he told me to do the 3 honks. off the line we were even but at about 20 MPH i started to pull ahead. by the time i hit 100 MPH i was about 1.5 car lengths ahead..... he thinks i can pull off a 13.6 in the 1/4 mile. next time i go i'm expecting a 13.8 or 13.7 in the 1/4 mile...... oh ya and this was with my E cut-out wide open and doing power braking to build revs off the line and leaving it in "D" the whole time

my dad also has a 2003 E500 (all the arab guys in my area do lol). stock it was tested at 14.4 in the 1/4 mile by one magazine and 14.2 by another.... so a good driver can pull off a 14.2 stock. he has AMG intakes, full exhaust system with stock resonators taken out, X-pipe, a tune, and a couple other things.
also they may only have 300 HP in a heavy car but they also have 339 tq compared to our 258. they pull hard for a heavy 4 door sedan

yup lol they love german cars.... i thought about getting a german car but the maintenance is insane.... my dad said he'd buy me a nice car but if it messes up i have to fix it so i passes on german cars.
