I'm in talks with guys that did the supercharger kits for the frontier nissan truck that later became factory supercharged.he's in talk with nissan about possible altima boneville runningsorry for sounding so secretive lol, i'm going to make an interest thread later, but be warned, the possiblities could be EPIC, and I might need someone to prototype, dyno, OR just drive there to see if CVT and 6MT will work or only 6MT.

oh yeah I might need you blake too

more info later

Hmmmm... they should also road course test it... you're in Montreal, I'm near Toronto.... St. Jovite (Mt. Tremblant) would be perfect for your MT and my CVT...

Seriously, keep us updated on this. Sounds interesting.

let's play nice..... (but I was thinking the same thing)... IDK, it really seems pointless to me supercharging the 2.5, I just can't understand why one wouldn't get the 3.5 to begin with if 100+ more ponies is what they are after.

Sounds interesting. Email me some more info about this. I'm going on deployment soon, so if you need my help/car, we will need to make special arrangements.

Yummm. I wouldn't do a turbo as I use my altima for a daily driver, but a supercharger is much more daily-driver friendly

mehdi you are the man! finally someone has answered my prayers for an intake manifold! and also headers too... i'd be interested in a supercharger for the future but for now i want intake, intake manifold, headers, and a tune.... AEM has a good intake and Stillen is working on a tune so just intake manifold and headers are missing and you've fixed that you made the projector headlights happen for us and now this.... altima coupe owners owe you a lot

Def. Sounds great! I was in talks with a local shop that does SC for 350Z and Gs but I was the one always calling and they never called me back no matter how many times I called. What idiots! I'm def. down for this! Where is this shop located?

Have you ever said anything not degrading or completely useless on this forum?

um...that was written as a joke but it looks like you got all butt hurt from it oh well.

And yes i have said plenty that has been helpful but it looks like you would rather resort to trying to deface me instead of just leaving it alone good job. And i do tend to be more of a critic but thats my choice to be whatever i wish not what you would want me to be.

So by helpful you mean telling anyone with a 2.5 that brings up a question of performance to get a 3.5? I guess everyone of your posts is a joke then.

what is your problem? wernt u breast fed or something? And yes it makes no sense to loose a hundred ponies to gain 3mpg its just retarded and then look to try and gain some of that power back that you could have had in the first place and a much better engine for just a few grand more

I dont think most the people who have a 2.5 chose it for the MPG. Maybe it doesnt make sense to you to loose 100HP for 3MPG, but for a few thousand dollars obviously it makes a difference. We have not all been working for half our lives as you are obviously older than the majority of the members on this forum.

I purchased my base 2.5s for $31000 out the door, and a 3.5se would have been $35000. I couldnt afford an extra $4000 at the time, but now that I have paid off my car (which most of you probably havent, especially 3.5's) I am looking to possibly make some major upgrades. Now that I dont owe money, I could probably justify paying $5000 for a supercharger. If a supercharger came out for the 2.5 I would be one of the first to jump on board.

My problem is that everyone bought their car for one reason or another, if someone with a 2.5 wants some extra performance you don't always have to be a jerk and tell them get a 3.5. Personally I like those "3 mpg" extra so I can get home on one tank of gas, like I said everyone has their reasons. Maybe you should quit making the same joke thread after thread.

im 19 and haven't been making money for that long so i needed to save whatever money i could and get a 2.5 but for you to say that i should have gotten a 3.5 if i wanna make my 2.5 better is ridiculous. your old so youve been making money for a while, yea its your opinion and you can say whatver you want but you sound stupid telling someone they should have got a 3.5 just because they want better performance in their 2.5
