Just like the topic says, does anyone know the stock wheel horse on the 3.5? I know it's rated 270 horsepower and 258 lb-ft torque but that's usually measured at the crank. I wanna know the true numbers at the wheel.

LOL at the title of your thread Dangeris - it's 0!!! FWD!!!

anyway...if my memory serves me correctly I believe that the number is around 220-230 hp @ the front wheels - this is coming from discussions I've read around here, so it might not be exactly accurate...

Yeah Marlin, After I posted it, a minute later I was like It's not rear wheel you idiot! So I hopped back into the thread to change the title and content to reflect that. I knew some one was going to say 0 though... I'm such a pineapple sometimes

Well, I guess if you really wanted to know you could do a Dyno..for the most part though you can estimate it..if it's stock 270, 30 of it is probably lost considering the weight and engine of the Altima..240-245 at the wheels? lol just a guess

Thanks for the numbers guys. Living in the stick, there's not a lot of places here that has a dyno. I'll search for one around here and see. Do you guys know / remember how much it cost you and how many runs they did?

You're still going to be hard pressed to dyno the CVT...how come you're looking at all this?

90 degrees at a hair over sea level the stock 3.5 coupe puts down 220- 230.
