I'm starting to creep up on 100k and decided to take a look at the service manual and what was involved in replacing the sparkplugs. I was surprised to find out there is a lot of stuff I have to remove to get to the plugs and then when I install of the crap back I have to perform a few tasks dealing with throttle valve position and idle air volume.

Has anyone here done this maintenance to their car? If so - did you follow the service manual exactly or is there an easier process I can go through?

I'm at 75k, so I would like to know as well. I haven't read the manual, but it might be something like making sure the gap is right on the plug for proper air flow and throttle, etc.
