3.5 SE stock hid's

Has anyone replaced the stock D2R bulbs? So far ive been getting pwned by the metal cover piece behind the bulbs and i cant figure out how to get em out.

You twist the metal piece (the ignitor) to unlock it. After removing the ignitor, there will be a metal clip that holds the bulb in place. You will just need to pinch it to loosen it, then you will be able to remove your bulbs.

yep exactly what phobs said. if the metal braces keep getting in the was u can lift them up and kinda clip them to the part above it to hold them up so you can get the light back in. i had my wheels on when i did it so thats y i had to clip them up to the part above...

i replaced this bulb once and it was a BI*CH to remove and install back on. after i messed with it for like 3 hours it just snapped in. I removed the whole bumper. you need to remove the whole Lamp to remove the light bulb they do this at the Dealer for 110 plus the bulb between 150 to 180

really? i don't remember it being that hard to remove the bulbs...
