Well im mainly worried about the fitment of them, im good at wiring and whatnot, so even if the wires arent all there, ill be able to hook them up to go with my turn signals.

I have a 2.5 with 3.5 mirrors. The wires are plug and play, you don't need to rewire anything, they have an adapter in the end that plugs right into an adapter from the mirrors. Removing the plastic cover that covers the mirror bolts on the interior of your door, will quickly let you see how many wires you have. Just count if you have 3 or 7 (7 meaning you're pre-wired for the 3.5 mirrors).

Replacing them took less than 10 minutes.

convenience, but the whole package thing isn't 100% certain... I still tell everyone to just take off the cover and look at their wiring, even if you have base...

I have a 09 2.5s with convenience and convenience plus package. I have the 7 wires and the fuse in for the mirror defroster and mines are worthless. They dont blink and they dont defrost either. If you have an 09 its either a hit or miss, everyone with the 07-08 worked fine.

IDK, i thought earlier someone with a 2.5 base did not have the wires when they removed their mirror... I think the convenience package thing is right, but I could be wrong

maybe it's similar to being prewired for fogs, how all canadian 2.5S models and higher are prewired but only certain american 2.5 models are prewired. there must be some sort of pattern to which models are prewired and which ones aren't, i can't believe that it's just hit or miss

yeah that was me. I still really want the turn signals and I'm thinking of just wiring it myself for those to work. Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to do.
