3.5 Manual 6th Gear Issue

So when I go to shift in and out of 6th gear it's physically harder to move the shifter in and out. There no kind of grinding sound and the car functions just fine during the shift and after. Is there some kind of linkage that just needs to be greased up? Or is this a sign of a bigger issue?

I have a similar issue however for me it was 2nd gar that was hard to get into and out of.. eventually i was unable to go into any gear from neutral.. had the car towed to mechanic and everything started working.. 3 days later same thing happened.. trying to figure it out, but sounds like it started off with same issue as you had.. my mechanic hasn't figured out what it is.. did you have any such issues? has yours been resolved?

Check and see if there's a TSB regarding this issue. Kind've makes me appreciate having the CVT

I haven't taken it to a transmission shop but I feel like I'm gonna need transmission work. Since it's 6th gear I've just been not shifting into since it's mainly for interstate driving anyway.
I'll update the thread when I finally take it in.
