3.5 exhaust fit the 2.5??

Well in about 2 months I will be purchasing and exhaust for my 08 3.5 coupe, most likely NISMO and it turns out my gf has the 2.5 coupe. I was wondering if anyone knew if my exhaust would fit on her car because she likes the sound of the stock 3.5. now I know that the pipes on the 3.5 are a little wider but mabye it would work

What.. May i ask how it "turned out" to be that your gf had a 2.5 coupe?It sounds to me like one day you were headed towards her place and then discovered in her garage a 2.5 coupe.. which would be kinda funny.. lol.

Anyways.. I would say no. The 3.5 and 2.5, although look the same could probably be called a different car. The 3.5 has alot of reinforcement work done to it inorder to handle the VQ, so i also assume that the stock exhaust is bigger/ positioned slightly differently.

lol...that IS pretty much what happened. when I first saw the pics of the coupe b4 its release I wanted it but I wasnt ready to buy a new car but the coupe was what I wanted lol. At the time my gf wanted a mustang and when she went to go get it she came back with the coupe. so i was like great this wont be akward. so about six months later I bought my coupe. I wanted to try to make it as different as I can so I got the 3.5 and ill be getting the nismo exhaust, nismo CAI when it comes out, grill, springs and HIDs so hopefully it will look a little different but it still looks funny when I go to her house and we park beside eachother lol
