3.5 engine break-in question.

I have researched the forums and know 1000-1200 info. My question is this:

I get mine in tomorrow and go to work on Thurs. Well, I work off-shore so it's a 760 mile drive. It will then be put into storage. (for 28days) So this goes against the "no long distance drives at a constant speed." Do you think frequent stops during the trip would help? Say a 10 min smoke break every hour and a halfish?
