Gurgling and popping sounds like my 3 month old, but I believe most cars with after market exhausts will do that, assuming it's when you let off the throttle/shift etc.J Russ wrote:well it makes me feel a bit better that theres a possibility that its not the transmission. Yeah I get A LOT of gurgling and popping out of my exhaust, oddly so, because I have done nothing more to my car than my Nismo cat back and a K&N... It sounds good though, so I'm not complaining. haha

Anyone in DFW or near interested please PM me for details/offers.

Sorry to bring you back to this again, but I've already complained about this A LOT! I get this smell every time I use the manual mode, when the RPM goes above 5K. I don't have any exhaust modifications, and I told Nissan about it. They said it was the in-cabin air filter, they replaced it, but the smell is still there.J Russ wrote:2010, 38,000 miles in, every time I drive my car spiritedly, it smells like rotten eggs afterwards (transmission??), and I am soon gonna need new tires. Already replaced the pads twice, and the rotors once (warranty covered that). But with the miles I've driven my car, I will for sure not hit 100k before I get a new car (soonish)... Good luck to everyone!
haha, wow man, you got ripped bad by the dealer on that one!!!Mr.HacKeR wrote:Sorry to bring you back to this again, but I've already complained about this A LOT! Yup, it actually made sense at first, because the AC is ALWAYS working in here. BUT, I made them change the trunk trim piece (above the license plate) for free. It broke because of the woofers in the trunk lolRanga14 wrote:

So how do we get this fixed, if it really was the cats? I think I'm going to go to Nissan and bug them a little bitIts probably the cats like CoupeVQ35CVT said. It makes me feel better to know that its probably the cats, and not the transmission.
The smell is far too strong and pungent to be the air filter, it... stings the nostrils
