I've heard a lot about this, but wanted to see for myself what the differences are between these two intakes with respect to the MAF sensor placement. Can anyone post pics of either one? Or point me to a thread with pics?

Thanks!

thats a hard one, you can find pics of the diff intakes scattered around the forum in "I JUST GOT MY INJEN INSTALLED" type thread but the main thing is that the maf's position was changed from being on top (and rubbing with the hood) to being on the side. but I think there is no more 1st gen intakes around except if you buy used, so I wouldn't worry

I have actually heard that the MAF sensor rubbing problem only applies to the 2.5.

I just installed an Injen intake on my AC about a month ago and no problems with rubbing at all.

Got it at Stillen. When I ordered it they made no mention of a newer model for the 09 or the 3.5L.

Good luck

Word up. Thanks guys! Mehdi - you decide to keep your wheels or did you end up selling them?
