Hello guys

I'm planning on getting Eibach lowering springs, but In here I'm not allowed to have less than 2 fingers gap between the wheel and the body of the car. Can you please post some pictures of your car (before and after if possible), also can you please measure the gap? (mine is the 3.5)

Thanks!

lol!!
Thanks a lot!
but now I'm concerned about the back.. Can I put the springs on the front side only?! I'm running on 17s, I'm not planning on getting any bigger rims.. On the stock springs, the back has a 2 finger gap already..

The handling will probably be funky if you just did the front only. Why the restriction on the gap?

Here is a pic of the rear of my car on stock springs and 17's.....seems a lot bigger than 2 fingers.

thanks!

I actually had a talk today with a police officer, apparently the rule only applies to one city (not Dubai). He said I can lower the car as long as it has the 2 finger gap or it doesn't seem to be lowered by much. According to him, if you lower the car a lot then you will start driving really slow on speed bumps and will create traffic jams..
so I don't think I'm going to do the rear side, I tried measuring a drop of 1" on the back, if that happens then I will have a maximum of 1 finger gap, then I'll be in trouble. Maybe I will install both just until the springs settle and I will decide later on. And the streets here are really bumpy, and the are a lot of potholes on my daily route. Still think it's a good idea? I really want to do it, but I'm afraid i'll mess something up in the car..
Thanks a lot for your help!

Honestly if the roads are horrid, I wouldn't do it. Every bump in the road will be magnified when you install the stiffer springs and shorten the life of your struts. I imagine they will wear even faster if you are constantly hitting pot holes all the time.
