found a max by me that was hit. guy is selling the engine cheap and i was thinking about building a stroker motor. what do i need and what for tuning. id prefer to just get a pc and leave it at that if i can. id also add ported heads, intake and throttlebody to the mix

it's been a while since i've read any on this subject but i don't think anyone went through with that build. for a stroker you'd need the crank and rods from a vq35 + arp rod bolts. there might be an issue with the piston hitting the head at higher rpms. another thing is that the hybrid has lower compression ratio (9.5:1 iirc).

after total cost it'll be cheaper to get a used vq35 and swap it in. but don't quote me because it's been a long time since anyone has talked about it.
