2wd Hardbody Tire Inquiry

My 1995 Nissan D21 shipped from the factory with 195/75R14 tires. 2 years ago I upgraded to a set of Pathfinder wheels measuring 15x6". I went with 215/60R15 Falken Ziex912 tires which didn't last very long, even wear just lots of wear. I now have a set of Nissan Frontier 15x7" wheels. I would like to go to a wider tire while maintaining the correct tire diameter so my speedo is correct. Since it's a 2wd truck what would be a good size tire to go to? Should I stick with 215/60R15? I did like the cruising ride on those, just not the fast wearing. Thoughts?

205/65R15 is closer.

Too much sidewall though.

205 fits perfectly on a 7 inch wide wheel, anything more gets pinched and the more you pinch, the more you wear your center.
