I was just curious how many US side RB guys ruinning the stock turbo have tried running a 2 step launch control. Would it generate too much heat for our turbos or would it be fine?

a serious 2step? like an anti lag one

or something weak like a bee*r or haltech (not sure if they can enable an antilag, but my friends haltech doesnt build boost)

i think the lil ones will be fine, but anti lag 2step might be too much for that lil turbo

I've seen them used on the 240,60,80Z datsun turbos. Ask around on those forums or the aussie ones to see what you can dig up. That sounds like an interesting write-up or research...

Ya, CA and SR guys use them, my friend with a DSM has one. Most of them claim around 10psi at a dig. Im just curious how well the lil turbo will take to having fire spit through it.

i think if u keep it low.

ive taken my t3/t4 to 30psi in a matter of seconds with the 2step.

if u can tune it low, then it should be able to take a couple of hits

Are the twins on the 26 as heat prone as the 25 and 20 ceramic?

Heres the article and manufacturer mentioned. Looks like they sell a full 2 step with no lift to shift. Every time the clutch goes in, it cuts the rpm down to the preset launch rpm so you stay in the boost. Not sure how well the stock motor would take this though.

The australian venders are selling the launch control for under $200, $167 on one site. I am not sure if you need the shift liguth part as well or just the launch controller though.

only 129 on one of the NewZealand pages. It looks like you need the shift recall shift light as well though to control and set it.

which is another 173
