do you think the 2000 muffler has more air flow then the forth gen because what i want to do is (i have a warpspeed y pipe on already) custom pipe all the way back no cat no resonator with a stock muffler you think that will keep the noise down or will it still be loud as ****

Any exhaust without the resonator is going to be loud/raspy.

so no cat but with the resonator on will still give me better air flow and sound but not as loud?

Basically. Might not be as quiet as with the cat, but it'll be a LOT less loud and buzzy than no resonator.
