p1273 code. i just bought this car a week ago and the check engine light came on. i had it checked and was told to change the out flow 02 sensor. so i did that and changed the oil. drove it for a day and the light came on again. P1273 code. i looked online and it says mass airflow sensor. im asking if anyone has had the same problems. the car is guzzling gas and im going to change the sensor tonight and reseting the light. if i get another light and its some other sensor could there be a problem that is triggering all these sensor and if so what could it be? please help

Have you swapped out the MAF with a known good part?

If the MAF is bad, it could be causing you to run extremely rich, which would cause very bad gas mileage (and also foul your plugs and O2 sensors).
