After 2 weeks in my G37 Sport 6MT (with Prem and Nav Pkgs) I must admit some disappointment. The G37 seems heavier and slower than my previous 2007 G35 Sedan Sport Auto. The steering is overly assisted and the suspension seems a bit too squishy, even though you feel every rut and expansion joint in the road. The upgraded stereo system seems much weaker than the G35 system and lacks bass (no subwoofer that I can find). The shoulder portion of the seatbelts are very uncomfortable. On the positive side, the clutch and transmission are much improved over previous years models. I will drive the G37 for a few more months but it looks like I will be car shopping in the fall.

Wow. Sorry you're disappointed Audi just released prices on the A5/S5 (39,900 and 50,500 base, respectively) and the S5 should be here next month, if that sparks any interest.

I must say it is heaver and slower but for some reason I still enjoy it more than my old G35...for what the G35 lacks this makes up for in better styling and engineering

It is nice but there are some cars the out weigh it due to sentimental value....for example my AE86 corolla

That was predicted. The "fun" factory really isn't there when driving the car. The G37 really isn't all that impressive and good thing I didn't jump the gun. I'll keep my 06 black on black fully loaded with everything for a while.

Who knows, I might just sell it and get a used NSX. For some reason, the Honda/Acura cars a lot more fun to drive. The feel, driver control, etc. makes it more fun to drive.

I came from a 1996 Integra and had that car for 5 years. That car was fun to drive. Especially after I turbo'd it. It's a little hard to expain, but the driving expereince is different. My G looks nicer, but the ride is a little boring. Maybe because the G is way too heavy.

You and I must have totally different ideas of what 'fun to drive' is because Hondas are flat-out boring to drive, to me. I've driven the (2004) Accord, (2006-07) Civic, and Element, and while they all handled well they weren't that interesting. The Acura TL and RL were a bit better, but the ride was almost sterile - no 'soul'. To be fair, my time in the RL was limited, it felt competent but wasn't engaging to drive.

My 350Z was a blast to drive IMO, and the G37 has some of the same feel and sound, with more luxury wrapped around it. The G35 is closer, I think, to what my 350Z was.

My .02...
