2nd Turbo CVT Altima Coupe???????

OK, so when I was at my shop yesterday, my install guy tells me that supposedly, there's a black turbo Altima Coupe with CVT here in San Diego. Supposedly, he did the kit himself, but I find that hard to believe. The amount of time it took a professional group like Speed force racing to do this kit was overwhelming...

ANYWAY, my guess is that this is BS, but if you hav a turbo CVt altima coupe here in SOCAL, and your name isn't Blake Harper.... please stand up!

btw he blew up his transmission on 9psi of boost, he dynoed it to more than 400WHP.

"no i just blew the trans, but nissan is putting a brand new one in, i turned the turbo down to 6psi until they make a aftermarket trans. i said i put 10,000$ in after market parts, but im not sure on the sale price yet. im thinking maybe 32K$"

he's selling the car lol, seems like a spoiled brat though lol:

I know of a turbo CVT coupe thats dark silver in FL(i forgot the paint code name lol). Its also not a speed force kit but was done by a local shop.

Hes not an active NICO guy though.

OK guys, just got back from my local shop... aparently it was a Supercharged CVT Altima coupe, here in San Diego, not a turbo charged one.... don't know if its a 2.5 or 3.5... I'll find out soon enough though...

and yes, he also has messed up his transmission!

I debated back and forth with that guy on youtube and the last thing he said to me was..."You probably don't even own a car huh?.. yeah OK...that comment didn't even warrant a response from me.

Hey SFR, since you got Blake's car under control in terms of the transmission kit, I'm assuming that this will be part of the kit? If so, did that modify the price some?

the kid had the cvt kit installed on his 6mt and screwed it up with 9 lbs. of boost and no engine management. this wasn't on a cvt

no, no, no, we're talking about 2 different cars... as I mentioned earlier, my audio installer was mistaken, it WASN'T a turbo on a CVT, it was a supercharger on a CVT here in San Diego!

From my understanding, his supercharger has already damaged his transmission... he didn't know to use a transmission cooler! I'll try to contact him and defineitely get him on the forum

yeah, looks like he went with a wheel with a high offset... that sucks to pay over 3G's only to find out it won't fit... he misshifts with his turbo and blows his transmission.... his brake kit and wheels don't mesh... sounds like dude is having a rough time with this aftermarket stuff

Most of the people here (well maybe not most, but i know many including myself) would be in his same seat if NICO wasnt here... I dont know what I would be doing or what my car would look like if i didnt have the info/insight provided by you guys!
