2nd gear grind!!!

hey guys,

on an 06 coupe 6 spd i was wondering if anyone else has this happen. when i first drive the car after it has sat say for about 8 hours the gears feel like they are very hard to enter. it almost feels as if the synchros arent opening fully when i shift. it is most severe when shifting from 1st to 2nd. it seems to do it alilttle more now as the temp is dropping around 50 degrees. what gives is this just the trans in this car or should i send it back to the dealership. i almost want to say it just about grinds from first to second as i shift at about 4k rpm. any info is greatly appreciated thanks

I moved this to the G35 forum, where I think you will have a better response from the G35 guys.

i have heard on the older 6 speeds that sometimes changing the fluid can help things... but take that with a grain of salt.

Perhaps check the fluid level. Otherwise you're under warranty so take it to the dealer to have it checked out.
