So i have a sr E5 ecu that friend a couple weeks ago, so i went ahead and saved all my pennies and found a new Tomei tuned ECU. Anyway i got it in and it worked awesome until another wire shorted out. So basically im out of money and with a car that doesnt go anywhere. Does anyone know of a place that can diagnose and repair an ecu? I have searched online but everything that comes up is out of the US.

thanks

I think its gonna be your wiring. If you did it yourself. Pull it and run through it again. Check all solder joints.

Yea, some of the insulation had come off some wires, but i need some place to repair the printed board. Can that even be done?

Man, if the connections delaminated it will be tough. The resistance may have changed in the board. Good luck.

The only person I'd say that has the know how for what your asking is Chris Epstien of RSenthlapy. That guy is a wizzard with sr20 ecu's.

heres my thread from a couple months back, it was the maf shielding wire shorting out the maf +12V power.

I recently I had a coil pack die on me, turns out it had been 1/2 assing it all along, so it could have been the a buggered coil pack.
