Trophies awarded for each individual class winner.

Raffles for great prizes to be held every half hour for all participants.

Local and national vendors will be onsite to demo and provide information for their products and services.

This event is going to be bigger and better than last year's event. We're at a different location this time with more space available.

The dealership owner has dropped some cash on the table for the top winners. Currently we have got a 100 car limit but depending on the interest level and how fast it fills up we might be able to get more spaces.

This show is designed for the enthusiast. If you have a fully sponsored car, it will not be elgible for prizes. Meaning, if someone besides the owner of the car paid for all to almost all the mods then that would mean you're sponsored. Having a minor discount at a shop or few shops is not deemed a true sponsorship, you will qualify for the prizes.

Also there is talk to having some special guests in attendance but nothing is in concrete as of yet. I'll keep you informed whether this is a go or not.

It would be nice to see some of the nico club turn out for this. This is held at my dealer. Those willing to show up at 8 am will have a shot at making it on TV. A sacramento news station is planning on doing part of their morning show live from the site. However We need to confirm early arrivals before they will show. I will be there working the show as a member of Team-Driven. What a day to spend my day off....AT WORK.

Please register your cars for the show whether or not you think your car is worthy. Show some support for the Nissan scene, and NorCal in particular.

If you're tired of Hondas, Subarus, and *gasp* Scions getting all the attention, this is your chance to show how much better Nissans and their owners really are. Don't let the prize money intimidate you, although it's certainly a nice thing to win. Professional show cars are not eligible for the prize money, so people like you and me who work hard at their 9 to 5 job to make thier cars look and perform well, have a legitimate chance of winning. More importantly, this is a chance to show the import car world the strength and unity the Nissan community has. Don't let your fellow Nissan enthusiasts down.

This is going to be a pretty fun event. The food's free, there's going to be free stuff to win, all the great cars to watch, and of course hang out with other enthusiasts.

I DON'T OWN A NISSAN and yet, I'll be there. It would be pretty sad if there's going to be more non-Nissan owners in a Nissan event. I won't let any of you people here live it down.

Man look at my car. I am going to enter it despite it needing more work I think it needs. I get tons of compliments on it even though I personally think it looks like S***. Just enter the car. its 10 bucks if you register now and you have a chance at winning cash money. This is why I cant believe we dont have more particapants. I mean we had a BBQ at a freakin park, drew over 150 nissans and over 300 people in which we requested food be brought. That donation alone would of pushed 10 bucks. What is wrong here. Why cant we get the same turn out where cash is being givin away?

Awesome man. The infiniti dealer next door is under the same owner. If we get enough infiniti involvement I can talk to the parts director and see if he can get an infiniti parts rep out there too.

Alright after some time from not tending to the forums. I'm back. We need more people. Who's up for it?

We've made some minor changes.

We've pretty much dropped the sponsorship confusion. Basically all we ask is that the cars entered be owned by an individual and not any business (ie, shops, magazines, etc) but other than that is made to be simple.

The categories for trophies have changed, Best NissanBest InfinitiBest DatsunBest Truck/SUVBest Stock/OEM

As well as the Top 3 Overall Best of Show

It's looking like the best of show will be judged by peoples choice and the 5 classes by a panel of judges.

This date is a go. No more changes. No pulling out. ITS SET. We need you to sign up and register. Be there.

I really hope there are more than 36 people coming? What needs to happen to get you to come? What is your reason? I would like to know to help make this event the biggest ever and have you be a part of it. If you are concerned about the "sponsorship" aspect. No worries. There are no "Strict guidelines" any more. All we ask is that the car be owned by a sole person and not a shop/company. This event is all about having fun. Period. So come out and have fun.

So why register and pay an entry fee?

-Guaranteed parking. (vistors/ non entrants have to find somewhere to park on the street.)

- Free Lunch. ( we are working it out that all the participants and their guest, those who ride along with them, get free lunch)

-Bag o goodies. (variety of things from discounts, maybe stickers, and a free gift.)

-Raffle ticket for various free giveaways from what the vendors present. ( Each vendor is required to bring 1 or more raffle prizes to be given away)

-Show eligibility for trophies as well as the top money prizes ( who doesn't want cash and trophies? You never know, you could have a shot.)

Don't worry this show isn't all about someone being full of them selves or not. There will be plenty of cars that aren't what people may call "Show Worthy" But there will be those that are also 'tricked out'. This show isn't all about the Super Show cars. Its aimed at people like you and me. To be apart of and enjoy the time. I'll have my car in the show not because I'm the organizer, but just because it'll be fun to be part of a show. I hope you'll reconsider. As well I'm looking forward to seeing you there regardless.

If that is your car in the picture it is exactly the clientel we are looking for. You are a home enthusiast pouring all your hard earned cash into an automobile you love spending time with cruising/drifting/ washing!!!

Dude I am entering my car [the first car I have ever entered into a car show] I dont expect to get much and I KNOW it is not all that. I actually hesitated cause I knew that. But thought what the hell its only 10 bucks. It'll be fun. plus I dont have to search for parking out on the street

Thats right there will be no room for spectator parking on the lot. Our dealer has the largest inventory of new cars in northern california so its gonna be a butt load of work moving and finding somewhere to put the new cars in the show area.

Sounds cool to me now. The car in my sig is the car i'll bring. Its just that ya know, its mainly a track car, so its only got one driver side bucket seat and i usually have mismatching tires. But for the event I'll ride on all 4 mesh rims. I'll post this on a local forum and see what response I can get. Thanx guys.

ok i got like 3-4 and counting people that are willing to go. I just noticed that our forums our listed on the site, running-free.org. We usually show up with a lot of people and participate in a lot of local events. Is it possible for all of us from Running-Free to get all our spots next to eachother?

We can try to set that up. most of you are are nissans "cars" correct? Reason I ask is we are going to attempt to setup the parking to our CLASSES. NissanInfinitiDatsunTrucks

Oem/Stock would not get its own area but be intermingled in the above categories.
