2nd Annual Ladies drifting competition"Dori Puri Nights"Saturday, October 1, 2005

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park, Balcony Track3pm till 12 midnightAll are welcome to spectate. All lady drifters are welcome to enter!!!

Entry Fee for Lady Drifter Competitors is $110 via [email protected].

All proceeds from this event will go to Drifting Pretty, a non-profit organization working to help increase the involvement of women in motor sports.

EventWe will be having two classes of drivers, beginner/intermediate as well as advanced. Confirmed judges are: Quoc Ly, Benson Hsu, and Nadine Toyoda. One more judge is still awaiting confirmation. Among the other festivities, Team Drifting Pretty, America's first and only all-woman drifting team will be burning it up with a four car drifting demo. Nadine & Benson, America's original drift couple, will be strutting their twin drift skills at sunset. More festivities TBA!

PrizesTrophies and prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placers in both the beginner/intermediate as well as the advanced class. Entrants will vote for the “Cutest Drift Car” award as well.

RegistrationAll Lady Drifter entrants will receive a complimentary official event tee and sticker with their registration.

Registration for Ladies entering the competition closes on 9/19/2005. No refunds or carry-overs will be allowed.

To register, pay $110 via [email protected], and email your full name, car (year, make, model) and describe your drifting experience (non-dp members only). A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of payment.

About Dori Puri Challenge

“Dori Puri,” Japanese for “Drifting Pretty,” was created last year by The Drifti ng Pretty Program. Last year, Drifting Pretty successfully held the Dori Puri Competition at the balcony track at Willow Springs raceway as a private event (09.18.2004). We had eleven ladies compete in America’s FIRST all-woman drifting competition! This year, Drifting Pretty is looking to double the amount of lady participants and open the doors to the public.
