2L V6 Nissan QX will not even try to start.

Hi hope you can help. Engine turns over OK, but does not even attempt to start. Have replaced Knock sensor and Crank shaft sensor to no avail.

Any ideas??

2L v6? is that nissans vq20de? you must not be in the states. ok, need to figure out if you are getting spark or fuel. check plugs for wetness or fuel smell. also put a spare plug on the end of plug wire/coil pack and ground against the cyl head. crank over to check for spark.

Thanks for your reply it is a 1996 model. The one after the maxima. Thier is a spark and gas there. all six power packs are OK. I was thinking on the lines of does the ECU have to indentify the key to get the car started. If so how can this be done. yes you are right I live in the UK.

good fuel and spark? is the fuel pump running well? the timing may be off. unplug the maf and see if that helps.
