2k2-2k3 headlights fit 2k-2k1?

I am wanting to change my 2k headlights with 2k2 headlights. Does anyone know if it is possible?

this is possible, but you will need a few things and some mods will have to be done.

once you get the 02-03 head lights you will need to piece together an HID kit.

first you'll need a conversion ballast whatever the headlight bulb is in the 00-01 maxima (ie if its a 9007, you need to buy a replacement ballast fora 9007 HID conversion kit)

then you need to get some H7 HID bulbs. to make these fit you need the conversion pieces from http://www.hidplanet.com to mount H7 in D2R/D2S housing.

next, get a light harness for the high beam bulb of the 02-03 headlight (not sure if its 9005 or what). tap this harness to the wires of your 00-01 ground and high beam, and buy the bulbs that fit.

that's the best thing that i know to do.
