Got this car super cheap and have decided to make a little project out of it. i want to run 12's with it for under $2k. heres the list:

1990 auto s13 auto hole in block(pulled yesterday) $150 plus $65 tow = $215

Goodyear 28x10x15 slicks on mustang wheels = FREE

sohc turbo manifold = $165 shipped

Super 60 t3 brand new/rebuilt = $265 shipped

160k mi sohc engine and 5spd transmission = $2005spd swap parts =$65spec stage III used disc see how far this gets me = $FREEFMIC, DSM bov, oil lines, boost gauge coming = $245 shippedrx7 550cc topfeeds on the way =$125 shippedsilicone coupling found in my garage enough for piping = $FREEIC and Downpipe estimate piping including flange = $75misc. = $100

have sold:shroud $15interior should be today $100 maybea/c system if that sells maybe $100+parting out kae hopefully ?so maybe $300 subtracted from the cost

so right now im under $1200 so maybe i will just get a new clutch kit to play it safe. with the interior stripped out and boosting a good 15psi on this turbo it ought to be fun. for management im either going to do a sorta y-pipe intake kinda like a hacked maf or jsut put on the extra safc i have. see how the afr's and if needed a fuel pump. should be getting done within a month or so after my car is in SEMA

Weld the diff, DIY water injection, keep the auto, buy N2O. If you have enough cash, send the stall convertor out and hav it stalled up to 3500. Should be about 350 through precision industries. Then buy a transmission cooler and roll on 2 baby.

Cool project. So does this mean the S14 is 'finished'?

BTW, I thought 4 lug Mustangs had a different bolt pattern. I dont know how they got those wheels on there...

See sticky at top of KA-T forum. I put that together from info I found on the net, so all the part numbers may not be correct, but its a good palce to start...

EDIT: Didnt realize there were no part #s listed. The complete spreadsheet can be found here...http://wes.spilky.com/injectors.xls

wow, that sounds like fun. Lets see how that 160k engine holds 15psi I think the DIY water injection might not be a bad idea.

WD not bad idea about the stall, a local place will do it for $300 iirc, better than breaking in a new clutch imo

S14 is nowhere near being finished, this is jsut something new to mess with rather than getting a bike ill kill myself on

you are right about the mustang wheels. i wanted them on so bad i made some "modifications" to them

got the injectors off ebay with harnesses

my car is actually running great, very strong very fast

thanks

Im glad you got an S13 rather than a bike. You are a great NICO member and I look forward to having you around for a while yet!

Good luck on that. I hope you dont shred the tires on the fenders though. maybe needs some 'custom bodywork' sponsored by sawzall?

that was such bad luck that we had, who would've known that a hyundai would have a cop in it goin to work? alright i can understand where your coming from too, but that S13 will be pretty bad *** when your done with it i'm sure of it. do you think it will be faster then your car running 15 psi that day?
