2K I30 ROUGH START UP

HELLO FELLAS, I'M NEW TO THE SITE AND I OWN A 2000 I30T. MY PROBLEM IS, EVERY MORNING WHEN I START THE CAR, IT IDLES REALLY BAD. IT GOES FROM 2K TO 500 RPM'S,UP AND DOWN,UP AND DOWN AND THEN IT DIES. I HAVE TO KEEP TAPPING THE THROTTLE TILL IT WARM'S UP. ONCE IT WARMS UP, THE CAR RUNS LIKE A CHAMP.

someone told me to clean the M.A.S. cuz when it gets dirty it wont function properly. what to do? thanx fellas. and oh yeah, sorry for the caps.
