2k I-30 - CEL

Hello,

New member here. This looks like a great forum.

I have a 2000 I-30, it has had a CEL on for a while. Everything runs fine, but I'd like to know what it is. Is there any way to find out what is causing the CEL?

On my other car (toyota) there is a diag port, and you just short a couple of terminals and the ECU flashes out a code. I'm hopeful that the Infi has something similar to help with the diagnosis.

I'm hoping to find a search feature here that will help me find what I need, and so far it seems to have eluded me. Please forgive me if this kind of question has been asked before.

No idea how to check and reset the Service Engine lite?

Just go to Autozone. They have a OBDII scan tool to check your CEL.It is easiest way. Or you can use "search" in which the right hand side on the site.

And it's free too. Much better than paying the dealer $$$ to do it.
