I have a 2000 GXE that had a cracked radiator. I sealed it and it ran fine. After a couple months though it blew while on my way to work and sprayed radiator fluid all over the engine. It didn't overheat..the pressure just blew the crack that was sealed. Since I was halfway between work and home I filled it with radiator fluid and it started right up and drove for another mile or two before spraying fluid everywhere and dying. Towed to shop and it ran but very very rough. Mechanic said there was "something bad wrong down deep in the engine". My buddy and I have tried to get it running. It cranks but wont start, I've changed the crank sensor and distributor but still nothing. I'm almost positive there is no blown head gasket. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for being so wordy.

Have you done a leakdown or compression test to actually verify that you don't have a bad head gasket? Any error codes?
