2jz swap kit

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

hey guys.. well i might come up on a 2jz for 900 bucks.... full everything.. 6 speed transmission twin turbo, wire harness everything.. but i cant find any swap kits for it only one can anyone point me to were there might be any other kits for the swap?

uhh 2jz w/ 6 speed getrag for 900? whos d!ck did u suck to get that good of a deal lol? but ya i think u should check it over to make sure everything is ok. swap kits hmm well this may or may not help.

Ali 556:I've asked arund and they sold you a '98 Supra TT Mounts...the go for 56$ EACH...So That's 112$ For Mounts....And The "machined" Supframe Can Be Done @ Any Local Shop....And For The Trany Mount..Get A R154 Rubber trany Mount And Fab Your OWN Trany Mount.....as for the drive shaft i can get it for ~80$

maybe ask that guy see how he made out with that lol i just got mine from tech2 along with sway bar spacers, tach and speedo hookups.

No no d!ck sucking here... he is doing an insurance job on it so yeah..... yeah the tech2 kit is like 1500 dam...

well that my friend is an awesome deal and im quite jealous. well the kit is pricey but atleast u have all the stuff right?

yeah i know.. complete 2jz ima do some more searching to see how hard is it really to make your own motor mounts and trany mounts hopfully its not that bad... i had a spare shell i can use that

PS 2JZ Swaps into 240s require the R154 5 speed transmissionsso your V160 6 speed is useless

you can do six speed can u not? u just have to make custom transmission mounts.

then yes you can use the 6 speed.

PS the R154 with the STOCK 240sx final drive (4.08) translates to 160mph+If you use the six speed with 3.13 final drive you will reach the same numbers. The 5 speed is definitly the way to go

hm.... thanks.. but i got some bad news the as.s whole that was going to sell me the motors chickened out with the whole insurance job thing..dam and we were going to pull it out on Saturday.... F.U.C_K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I might have to kill some one to take some anger away lol jk....(or am i)
