2J Headers

I just purchased an 03 Altima, and the previous owner had done some welding on the exhaust manifold. I think they deleted the pre-cat, but it is hard to tell. I'm looking to upgrade to 2J headers. Does anyone have any advice on whether I should go for the Spyder or Medusa headers? I understand the Spyder is bolt-on, but the Medusa will require some extra hardware/fan modifications. Either is doable, so I'm looking for a reason to choose one over the other. Thanks.
