I don't post often, and please excuse my user name, because I've been spending the year cleaning my altima coupe but the Z does get a lot of use on the weekends or when ever I decide to spring a drive to work. I want to start on my Z with the wheels up. My ultimate goal is have the block and twin turbo kit taken care of by Sound Performance in Illinois, but that's getting a head of myself.

I would love to run a nice, wide tire on this thing but I'm unfamiliar with what I can get away with on the Z. For example, I know I can mount a 245 tire to an 8.5" wheel with a +34 offset and just barely get away with clearance on my Altima coupe. Wouldn't mind rolling the rear lips on the Z but want to keep it a little close for minor rolling. So do you guys have any suggestions that will help me out as far as rim width and offset for a 295 tire? Thanks, really need the help as every wheel and tire shop will only tell me a safe fit.

295 on a 10" wheel with a +25 offset will work very nicely. 275 on a 9" wheel with a +22 offset works well on the front.

Hope you don't mind me bringing this one back up but what size tire diameter are you running? I'm very familiar with aspect ratios and tire calculations. Once I know what size tire diameter everyone running 295 tires have, I can stick to that as my general "safe" zone with the given offset and wheel width.

But as of now…. Thinking about going RE30's in a 18x9.5 +15 (255/35) and 18x10.5 (295/30). Still looking for a good blend of tire wall and width to run. I know these specs put me under the stock tire diameter but I want it to clear or do minimal rolling. I'd like to bump them both up a series on the side wall but not sure just how much more I can push. Kind of basing things off this topic.
