do you guys think 280zx would be a good autocross car to start off with?i have a 240sx and made the mistake of swapping with the whole purpose of autocrossing it but..:p too high of a class. so im thinking selling it for 3g's i guess and buy a beater 280zx for 500$ and with the 2500$ maybe get rid of all the rust and paint it with an lsd, suspension parts, and bucket seat or something

what'd you guys think?

what do you mean to high of a class. Does it have an sr in it? All you need to do is make it faster as you learn how to drive it. There is no reason it can't be competitive in street mod. If you do decide to sell it for 3 grand let me know.

What about swapping a KA back in the car?

i dont know how much id want to beat on a 280, if youre going to go through restoring it or if its already in good shape i really woulnt want to ruin it

just get another 240 if you dont want to run your current one, dont do anything to it though and learn how to drive it stock first

^ I think thats good advice.

I'd rather beat on a 240sx than a 280Z/ZX
