Hi my names justin and i am considering buying one my neighbors old 280zx he has a turbo and a non turbo.I currently own a 1992 240sx LE but preffer the look of the older cars. any info on the 280zx would be greatly appreciated. need to know the 280zx top speed, horsepower, 0-60 etc. some web sites would be a great help

L28E put out about 140 flywheel hp. In perfect condition, they will run 16.2 in the quarter.L28ET puts out about 180 flywheel hp. Don't know what it runs stock, but not faster than 15 flat.Have no idea where they top out at, but the speedo only goes to 85, a NA is gear limited to ~160mph. Turbo is gear limited at about 170 (different trans and different R&P). neither will go that fast stock due to poor aerodynamics

keep in mind wthat with a bit mroe boost the turbo can get up to about 220whp with stock everything just extra boost and fue pressure and if you add the I/C ,bigger injectors, bigger turbo, stand alone, your over 400whp but thats when the stock pistons start to melt
