I like, I like. I would REALLY like to see that front end conversion done on a coupe.

The white one in the other pic looks horrible, but I think it's the quality of the work, not the style, IMHO.

I love it on the hatch, not a huge fan of it on the coupe, I would rather have a silvia front end.

The red one is a 240Z front clip.... I believe thats from a manufacturer in Japan. I don't believe the "conversion kit" is available. The second is a 280Z front clip... That I believe is a guy from another 240 forum out in cali... I've seen those pics before. He just finished it not too long ago. IMHO the red one looks much better and flows alot smoother... probably has alot more time/hours/$$ in the body work too ;)... the second one looks good but the 280 front just doesn't seem to flow w/ the 240SX front bumper... I think on the red car the front end flows better because they did the whole thing including the bumper, etc.. The hood has to be 100% custom the fenders are probably cut/fiber/welded together w/ the OE 240sx ones... I dunno looks like alot of work to me... but definately slick on the red car!

the red car IS a kit, I posted the thread with the pictures a few months ago. I found the pictures from a company selling the "conversion kit" on yahoo japan auctions for roughly 300,000 yen (just under $3k) with fiberglass body panels etc... its a 100% bolt on affair:)

and yes the second car (with the SX bumper:rolleyes) looks like a$$

I like it from certain angles...it just extends too far from the front wheels IMHO (profile shots make it easy to see).

I say buy a 240zx if you like it that much. :)

Yup Yup....... just go old skool if you want the old skool look. I've always wanted a 240Z w/ a RB25 in it...... fun. Or just a turbo 280 w/ a few upgrades. I had seen a 280zx in turbo several (showing my age) years ago which had a TT Z driveline in it (automatic even).. ran 11.40's on street tires! Didn't have much in the way of mods.. pretty much just stock driveline with a little boost control action.
