Custom mounts, custom driveshaft, and an L series should fit. However, I don't see the benefit of putting that much money into a L28 when you can get more power out of a newer motor for less money. Just my .02 However, I'm not one to stifle creativity, so if you want to put an L28 in your S chassis, do it. Just be prepared to have to fab stuff up
