i have heard about using a 280z oil pump on the ka24e motor. It is a higher flowing oil pump. I just dont know what year you get it for or if it is a 280z or 280zx. Does it have the correct pressure sping for the ka24e?

Yes i searched before i posted this.

yes you can use the 280zx oil pump and it bolts right up. I have one and it works awesome. About 75 psi pressure on cold startup's and 25 at idle when warm. Good investment.

Do you remember what year and model it is for. N/A, turbo, etc. Maybe a part number.

This is the first time I've heard of this. Which is good, because I was planning on getting a new oil pump pretty soon anyway...

15010-S8000 is the oem part number for the 280z oil pump for the automatic. Appearently the auto had a oil cooler so the pump is a high volume pump to help with the extra capacity of the cooler and lines. You can pick up the pump for about 70$ at autozone. Thank you zilvia.net
