280Z AC unit removal

Ok im restoring a 280Z and i got stuck on taking out the AC unit.On the way there i cut some hoses and some greenish luiquid leaked.

well i just need some kind of parts illustrations on the AC and heater units. i dont need these items in my Z. im kinda stuck on the AC everything else seemed easier so can someone hook me up with adobe schematics or parts animated parts illustrations thank you!!!

there are 2 hoses that go throught he firewall for the heater, they contain coolant, the a/c lines should be pretty tough to cut through and have o-ring fittings at the firewall, you sure it wasn't a heater core line you cut?

what i need to do is also take that white-ish rusted piece on top to where the hose connects too

looks like you cut the line for your heater control valve that grenish fluid was antifreeze. That does look like kind of a pain in the *** good luck man you could aways get mad and just start pulling on **** lol

those are for your heater, the heater core is inside the small casing behind the ac unit

im having trouble getting my A/C out as well, probably because the metal outlets are so tight they bend the piping...

to help you out the piping for the A/C exits on the other side of the car, beside the firewall plate for the clutch/brake pedal assembly

yup, thats your heater lines, the a/c lines look like they go to the other side of the box
