For those of you running the 275's on the rear of the factory rims and 245's up front. Did you guys stick with the 40 series profile or did you down grade to a 35 or 30?

275/40 is too tall by more than 3% from stock. 275/35 is only .5% difference and would be ideal.

I put on 275/35 for the rear and 245/35 front. Toyo proxies...it was under 1k installed.

Are you running 19" or 18"? Would 275/35/18 be ok for the rear? I was going to go with 275/40/18 didn't look like any change to the speed vs stock 245/45/18.

Those Toyo Proxes T1r are a pain to find locally, might try TD4L.com.

I've been doing some research and with the stock OEM 18" rims (18x8), many people are saying to stick with 245mm for the width. 275mm on 18x8 would cause body roll and might even be unsafe.

My car came with 245/45/18. I replaced them with 275/40/18. It is almost exactly the same size. Less than 1/10 of a MPH difference at 60 mph.

I'm going with 275/35/20 and 245/40/20 mounted on Petrol Fusions/black with stainless lip 4 1/2" lip Ibauch springs From what I believe, this optimal. I think I have the 35 and 40 correct?
