So i went back to the sticker place to get things taken care of and the designer came up with some samples and i tweaked one of the samples and came up with this design. i discussed the design over with darryl and he loved it. if the 2.5 owners like the idea, i will get stickers made for you guys so ya'll won't feel left out. i am coming out of my own pockets with this trying something new for the forums. for the set i am charging $5 or $3 for 1 sticker. please let me know what you guys think..

hmm, that's interesting. never thought about getting something like that. i'm not really a sticker fan though. although i do like that clear background NICO sticker that a member had made. and the only other sticker i planned on getting was DUB once i get some 20" wheels...

ITS FUNNY CUZ WHEN I TOLD THE DESIGNER TO DO IT I TOLD HIM I WAS GONNA GET THE 2.5'S 1 MADE AS WELL CUZ IT WOULDNT BE FAIR. SO SINCE UR THE FIRST 1 I'LL START A 2.5 LIST. THE ONLY THING IS THAT I DONT HAVE PAY PAL. SEND IT THROUGH TO DARRYL. I'LL LET EVERY SEE HOW IT LOOKS IN ALL THE COLORS WHEN EVERYTHING GETS PRINTED. IM HAPPY ITS STARTING TO COME ALIVE.

I like the idea of it and all but the only problem I see is how are you guys going to prove that you do produce the power? The other thing is are you going by crank or wheel hp.

I mean it would suck to say you got that much power and an STi owner or other car enthusiast at a car meet ask what you have etc will call you guys out without proof. Even with turbo you can't say you will have such power without a dyno sheet to prove it.

To me, stickers are just that - stickers. They do not mean anything, do not prove anything, and should be taken for what they are - plain old stickers. But... I personally would feel like a tool sporting one, as I feel it implies that the owner feels as if he/she is part of some "elite" car club where 270 hp (at the crank!) is rarefied ground.

That's when you start blabbing and say stock is xxx hp at the crank, and then add on your ricer math. And don't just list engine mods, get creative (springs reduce wind resistance a little, so they got to be worth 10-20hp at the top end). It's the quickest way to get over 300hp. Then add in some vague statement about drivetrain loss and bam! You now have 270 at the wheels.

Wait, i just had a thought. How about a sticker of a dyno sheet? Then, you have absolute proof that the sticker is the real deal and no explanations are needed. Ever. Just point to the sticker!

yeah funny..buuut im not a 2.5 dude.i said 209+, in reference to that dyno thread that started a few days ago!u know what- put all us non-boosted 3.5'rs down for 210+ club!& if we got a couple perfornance mods, 219+club WHOOooOO!!

In all actuality the 3.5L engines in almost all import models these days make over 270 hp, so its kind of a wash to make stickers for only that amount. The only cars that make less are American V6's.

Maybe u can come up w/a team name for the AC community? U know, like how everyone across the states has "hellaflush" sticker. Y'all can form a team that encompass all 50 states + canada. Just my 2 cents.

OK SO I GOT THE ORDER IN FOR THE STICKERS TO BE PRINTED AND I GOT A TOTAL OF 60 TO START OFF WITH THEY WILL BE READY TOMORROW. THE COLOR I GOT THE MOST WAS BLACK FOR A MORE COMMON COLOR. THE STICKERS ARE 2 X 5.5 INCHES. FOR THOSE GOING TO CARLISILE DARRYL WILL HAVE THEM. I HOPE THAT THIS GOES WELL. I BOUGHT RECIPTS FOR PEOPLE WHO PURCHASE THE STICKERS TO MAKE THIS MORE REALISTIC.
