I just checked the sizes, and its only 1.3% larger diameter.....

Meaning your speedo will read a touch slow (1-2mph at highway speeds)... If they're good load ratings (95+) your all good!

Just checked on tirerack, and all the sizes I could find were at LEAST 97, and up to 101.. These seem like heavy duty tires and Id have NO problem putting them on my Q....

Ryan - I don't think those are 265/40's, based on the pics. I'd double-check, from the sidewall height those appear to be 235/40's.

265/40 would NOT fit well (width-wise) on those rims, as I have 8" rims and 255/40 were damn snug.

BTW, 265/40 is 2% larger OD than OEM. OEM is 26.1".

hitman,

I thought the same thing to, but she says that's what they are

Here is all the info she provided

The tires on the rims are Michelin 265/40 ZR18. The rims are a 5 lug pattern. Is this the information you are looking for?

Numbers and notations on the rims are as follows:

OZMade in Italy8 1/2 Jx18 H2C=180ET20G05001362 051As-7 LP

Well, then something's screwy.

The tires in the pics are shorter than mine, unless there's some weird optical illusion going on.

8.5 width is GOOD, though! Nice find.

Hmmm ... 265/40 might be a bit wide on the 8.5" rims. Check tire-rack for recommended rim range.

Also, if the offset is truly 20mm (is that ET20 I see?) then these are going to have fitment problems, I think! Particularly given the tire and rim widths!

Let us know how it goes! I hope it works out!

Well I have no clue on things like this, so thanks for the input

With shipping the total came out to 670.. Given the quality of the wheels and even the tires, I'm willing to give it a shot.

I'll order different size tires If I have to, I hope the wheels work out
