im undecided as to which Step2 cam setup i want..

my setup consists of

*S14 SR20DET (zenki)*Enthalpy ROM tune*GT2871R*Front mount Intercooler*740cc injectors*Apexi 1.1 headgasket *ARP stud kit*MR Manifold*Greddy Valve Springs*Greddy Rocker Arm Stoppers*FlexaLite dual 12" Fans*new oem thermostat*front & rear strut bars*intake manifold*koyo aluminum radiator*nismo 18lb radiator cap*walbro 255 *greddy aluminum oil pan*z32 mafs and wire kit*clutch*flywheel*tein springs

now i plan to have this car street drivable, but also be a monster at the 1/4 mile

i really love a lumpy cam, but i dont want to have problems starting it up often.

is the 272 too much cam for my setup or will i be able to get away with havin this cam on a street driven car?

thanks in advance guys!

ps: feel free to add anything to my parts list that i should consider buyin.. (bottom end will remain stock for the time being)

264's are a nice street cam...my idle is pretty damn good with them. If anything, run a 264 on the intake and a 272 on the exhaust.

with the 2871R, id just go straight 264 setup. The 272 will extend the powerband some but i dont think the turbo is quite big enough to take advantage of that. If you go bigger turbo though, the 272 will help alot.
